Job Title: Senior Accountant

We’re seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing corporate accounting team. In this role, you’ll build hands-on experience across core accounting functions—month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting—while working closely with department leadership. What You’ll Take Ownership Of:
- Active participation in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with leadership across locations and departments on financial matters.
- Involvement in audits, including preparing and reviewing financial information.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in day-to-day accounting workflows
- Perform financial analysis, identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as requested by senior leadership, providing financial expertise and insights.
Need-To-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Strong analytical background
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple deadlines and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- High proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data manipulation, etc.)
- Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills, as this position will interact with a variety of colleagues across departments and financial backgrounds
Love-To-Haves
- Proven experience working in a multi-location omnichannel retail environment or similar business as a Staff Accountant
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Prior ERP systems experience
- Familiarity with MS Queries or similar data tools
- Knowledge of tax compliance and regulation
