ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our 10-week summer internship program offers a hands-on learning experience provides hands-on experience within a collaborative advisory environment serving high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and institutions. Interns gain exposure to the core pillars of modern wealth management—comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and delivering a differentiated client experience.

This role is ideal for students interested in financial advisory careers, private banking, investments, or fiduciary services. Interns will work closely with advisors, private bankers, planners, trust officers and portfolio specialists to support client relationship activities and strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Learn fundamentals of financial planning in eMoney financial planning software.
  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and organizing client financial data including cash flow, net worth, retirement projections, insurance, and estate considerations.
  • Help prepare financial plans and scenario analyses using planning tools and internal templates.
  • Participate in plan reviews and help identify planning opportunities in areas such as tax optimization, retirement strategy, risk management, and charitable giving.
  • Support investment portfolio analysis, performance reporting, requests for proposal (RFP), and compliance.
  • Help prepare client-ready investment materials including asset allocation reviews, portfolio updates, and capital markets commentary.
  • Observe portfolio construction workflows, rebalancing processes, and investment due‑diligence meetings.
  • Contribute to monitoring economic trends and drafting summary insights for the advisory team.
  • Assist with onboarding workflows, documentation, and data integrity across CRM and portfolio systems.
  • Help prepare pre‑meeting briefings and post‑meeting follow‑up items to ensure seamless client service.
  • Participate in client meetings (as appropriate), gaining exposure to advisory conversations, discovery processes, and client relationship dynamics.
  • Support client experience initiatives such as communications, educational content, and process improvements.
  • Partner with specialists in trust services, banking, retirement, and institutional advisory to understand how integrated solutions are delivered to clients.
  • Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and strategic planning sessions.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Student pursuing undergrad degree with anticipated graduation date between June 2026 - June 2027.
  • Ability to start internship program on June 8, 2026
  • Strong interest in business and finance, though no specific major is required.
  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a professional setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

          WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.

          BASE PAY RANGE:

          $20.00 per hour
