The Sales Associate ensures walk-in customers are first priority; operates the cash register; balances cash register receipts; applies payments to accounts; prepares reconciliation report; and conducts deliveries, mailings and pick-ups.This position also maintains and properly responds to requisitions; maintains appropriate patient and department records; conducts inventory and stocking of inventory materials including monitoring OTC usage, relays ordering requests, and helps maintain/clean pharmacy equipment and work surfaces.This position works closely with pharmacy staff and refers any questions regarding prescriptions, drug information, or health matters to a pharmacist.

Responsible for cash management, counting tills, daily deposit and change orders.
