Summary:

The Surgical & Procedural Service Line Operations Analyst will provide data-driven insights and operational support to optimize performance and accomplish fiscal and quality objectives for the service line. They support analysis of complex data and create reports and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous process improvement across Surgical & Procedural Service Line, in conjunction with finance, information services, and supply chain. Works as an administrative specialist for division leadership.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collects, validates and analyzes revenue, cost, utilization, budgetary and quality data.

  • Creates and maintains reports, dashboards and other benchmarking tools to assist with financial and quality improvement initiatives, working in conjunction with leadership, finance, information services and supply chain.

  • Facilitates projects and initiatives to support operational efficiencies and process improvements.

  • Demonstrates an understating of the budget and assists division leadership in budget analysis, business cases and proformas, budgeting, and strategic and capital planning.

  • Participates in integrated workgroups across application and operational teams, serve as a subject matter expert for EPIC OpTime reporting and optimization.

  • Acts as administrative partner for Surgical and Procedure Service Line leadership by providing administrative assistance with scheduling, communications and project coordination.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department / organization.

Education:

• Required: Associates - Related Field

• Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field- OR -Masters - Related Field

Work Experience:

• Required: A minimum of 3 years Related Experience
