Maintaining and improving mold/mold surface condition and assisting in the implementation of new technologies/processes.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform mold surface and root plate maintenance duties.

  • Perform PMM on all mold/web mold equipment

  • Fabricate tooling/equipment

  • Assist in the installation and training of fabricated tooling/equipment.

  • Assist in the relocation of existing molds

  • Assist with creating necessary documents for all equipment introductions

  • Assist Engineering/CI/Maintenance teams on project related tooling/equipment

  • Assist GIL’s and/or Industrialization teams on technology implementation and/or new mold installations

  • Cleaning of plant equipment using dry ice blasting system and/or other cleaning methods

  • Create and maintain silicone used for web molding

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications in Laminate Repair, Gelcoat Repair, Crane, aerial Lift, and PIT Certifications.

· Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions and dispose of chemicals appropriately.

  • Maintenance and/or fabrication knowledge.

  • Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, welders, torches, etc.

  • Must be able to read/decipher blueprints/drawings.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office.

Desired Characteristics

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Composites, Commercial construction, or auto-body preferred.

Position Shift: Sat-Mon 5:00am-5:30pm
