As a Manager of Supply Chain 2​, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position allows for FT remote work.

This role leads the Space Sector Global Supply Chain Price/Cost Analysis team, managing a team of approximately ten Price/Cost Analysts who support all Business Units and programs across the sector. The Manager is accountable for ensuring the timely delivery of FAR-compliant Price/Cost Analysis Reports (PCARs) and other cost-related analyses that support negotiation,

award, administration, and closeout activities.

The Manager serves as the sector authority on cost and price analysis under FAR Part 15, ensuring analytical rigor, regulatory compliance, and consistent application of best practices. This position is both strategic and operational responsible for people leadership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement of sector cost analysis capabilities.

In this job, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Price/Cost Analysts supporting all Space Sector programs and Business Units

  • Ensure all Price/Cost Analysis Reports (PCARs) meet FAR and DFARS requirements and withstand audit and customer scrutiny

  • Oversee and perform complex cost analyses, including:

  • Price and cost realism analysis

  • Certified Cost or Pricing Data evaluations

  • Overrun analyses

  • Closeout cost evaluations

  • Proposal support and negotiation strategy development

  • Establish and maintain standardized sector methodologies for price and cost analysis

  • Serve as the sector subject matter expert for FAR Part 15 pricing requirements and related DFARS provisions

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Contracts, Programs, and Finance to align pricing strategy and risk posture

  • Support internal and external audits (DCMA, DCAA, CPSR, internal reviews)

  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, templates, training, and analytical techniques

  • Provide leadership visibility on cost risk, trends, and systemic issues impacting program affordability

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field – OR – Master’s degree with 6 + years of experience

  • 8+ years of experience in price/cost analysis, government contracting, or related disciplines

  • Demonstrated expertise in FAR Part 15 and DFARS pricing requirements

  • Proven people-leadership experience managing and developing analytical teams

  • Strong command of cost analysis methodologies, including labor, material, ODC, and indirect rate analysis

  • Experience supporting audits and responding to government or internal review findings

  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with cost modeling tools and Excel-based analysis

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
