The Role

As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in building ODRA's industry-leading street sweepers. You'll assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys learning new skills and working as part of a close-knit production team.

Training is provided, and we support your growth as our company continues to expand.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Install and assist with hydraulic and electronic systems in industrial equipment
  • Install and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnesses
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Perform inspections and functional testing to verify products meet ODRA quality standards
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production goals

What You Bring

  • 3-6 months of Assembly/Manufacturing experience in the last 5 years
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Comfort using common shop tools and equipment
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow your skill set
  • Ability to work reliably in a hands-on manufacturing environment

Assets (Nice To Have)

  • Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience (training provided if needed)
