Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring parts and materials are handled efficiently to support production, service, and shipping. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, forklift experience, and a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack parts and materials for production and service orders
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments; document and organize inventory accordingly
- Load and unload deliveries using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard
- Track inventory using warehouse management tools and systems
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill materials requests
- Adhere to safety and company protocols at all times
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience
- Forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
- Ability to operate an order picker and manage large product movement
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Class D Driver's License
- Ability to drive a full-size pickup and trailer
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
