About The Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Senior Manager to lead manufacturing and operational activities across our multi-site assembly operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this role oversees production, warehouse, logistics, production engineering, and quality-driving alignment, accountability, and consistent execution across all functions.
This is a high-impact leadership role within a growing organization. You will play a key role in strengthening how operations run today while helping build the structure, processes, and discipline required to scale.

This role includes regular coordination with our Grand Forks, ND operation and Winnipeg, MB requires up to 20% travel to support alignment across sites.
What You'll Be Doing
Operations & Production Leadership
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across production, warehouse, scheduling, inventory, logistics, production engineering, and quality
- Coordinate production planning, scheduling, capacity management, and resource allocation to meet customer demand
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Monitor and drive performance across key metrics: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and inventory
- Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and process improvements
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and warehouse operations
- Build and strengthen operational systems, reporting, workflows, and accountability
- Identify and execute improvements in safety, quality, productivity, lead times, inventory flow, and cost efficiency
- Support implementation of operational systems, technologies, and process standardization
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative operational team
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors, leads, and team members
- Maintain a strong floor presence with a hands-on leadership approach
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Drive clear communication and alignment across production, warehouse, engineering, procurement, and logistics
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the COO and leadership team to align operational priorities with business objectives
- Work with procurement and supply chain to support materials planning, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization
- Support strategic planning and future capacity expansion
What You Bring
- 5–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or heavy equipment assembly environments
- Ability to travel between the USA and Canada to support multi-site operations, up to 20% travel
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability and measurable operational results
- Strong knowledge of production operations, warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, quality systems, and production engineering
- Experience driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Multi-site manufacturing experience is considered an asset
