Position Summary:
Assemble components and package finished items to ensure that high quality manufactured products are shipped.
Core Roles:
- Complete orders on time per ship list and work instructions
- Assemble product components using power and hand tools
- Package products using proper materials to safely ship to customers
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with co-workers to ensure all materials are properly prepared.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools
- Skill in reading, writing, and math relative to construction drawings, work orders, shipping reports, and other job related functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a table saw, sliding miter saw, forklift and other carpentry tools
- Basic carpentry skills and mechanical knowledge relative to building construction and/or manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and walk with loads up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for the duration of scheduled shift
