Salary/Position Classification

  • $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 20 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing literature reviews and working with larger teams in manuscript preparation
  • Leveraging Python and other computational/software-specific protocols assisting the research team achieving their scope of work subtasks in a timely and exceedingly professional manner.

Required Competencies

  • Computational abilities leveraging Python libraries

Minimum Requirements

  • Current UND PhD student
  • Image/video editing/map-generating visualization experience
  • Experience publishing academic articles (evidence of academic article in print with DOI).
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro
  • Evidence of having conducted geospatially-focused remote-region fieldwork leveraging remote sensing.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
