Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to children in kindergarten through 6th grade for the after-school program.
  • Provide academic support by assisting students with Reading and Math homework, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare and distribute nutritious snacks in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the program facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic space for all participants.
  • Design and lead age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth among elementary students.
  • Support program operations during scheduled hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
  • Availability on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00pm-5:30pm
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
