Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Student Video Production Assistant will assist UND Aerospace Network video producers and UND Aerospace staff in the creation and archive of video assets and broadcast control room operation.
  • Support UND Aerospace Network producers and staff in filming, editing, and studio operations.
  • Assisting with field production, editing, video archiving, and general production support for academic and outreach projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to learn and adapt to control room operation situations.
  • Attention to details.
  • Schedule flexibility and willingness to work some nights and possibly weekends.
  • Video production experience
  • Knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Suite preferred)
  • Video gathering skills. Successful completion of criminal history records check.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
