Salary/Position Classification

  • 18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide ground and flight training as an instructor for AVIT 238 in sUAS.
  • Maintenance and repair of sUAS training
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Observe sUAS flight training activities. CFI preferred.
  • Pay adjustment can be made for level of certifications/experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Interpersonal/Human relationship skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight
  • Knowledge of sUAS operations
  • Requires remote pilot certificate
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
