Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Aerospace Physiology Personnel with the filing of departmental student paperwork.
- Assist department personnel with the disposition of altitude chamber flight student paperwork.
- Maintain altitude chamber flight records.
- Train on and safely perform as altitude chamber operator for hypoxia and rapid decompression altitude chamber flights.
- Assist departmental personnel with the fitting of student oxygen equipment.
- Train on and safely operate altitude chamber vacuum pump and air compressor.
- Train on and safely operate Spatial Disorientation Trainer.
- Train on and safely operate Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) trainer
Minimum Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Maintain at least a 3.5 GPA
- Aviation Major, Air Traffic Management, or UAS major
- Current CPR training card
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with use of oxygen equipment.
- Experience and/or training with Red Cross First Aid.
- Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) Training.
- Night-Vision Goggle and Forward-Looking Infrared experience or training.
