Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 40 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collecting fish from lakes using standardized fish sampling gear
  • Collecting water samples from lakes for water quality assessment
  • Extracting otoliths and processing fish samples
  • Aging fish

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Capable of lifting fishing nets and other sampling gear
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
