Purpose of Position
To Assist with regional and nationwide plant and soil inventory projects
Duties & Responsibilities
- Travel with a field crew to field sites and natural areas across the Great Plains and Pacific Northwest to conduct plant surveys and collect soil samples.
- In-lab processing of soil and plant samples.
- Working with private landowners/producers.
Minimum Requirements
- Interest in any aspect of biological, ecological, environmental, physical, chemical, computer, or similar science field to be described in the cover letter
- Ability to travel overnight during summer
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

- An interest in pursuing career paths related to biological, environmental, or ecological sciences helpful.
