Salary/Position Classification

  • 18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
    • Position will start Fall 2026, estimated start date 8/24/26
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working alongside GE Digital to create novel analytics in the Aviation Industry.
  • Supporting AVIT 412 class activities with industry partners.
  • Training internal and external customers on use of the GE EMS software.
  • Creating novel analytics in the GE EMS software.
  • Supporting internal research initiatives.
  • Quantitative data collection.
  • Aggregating data for analysis.
  • Maintaining notes from research meetings and activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have successfully completed AVIT 412 (on campus, in person) within the past 12 months.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with the GE EMS software.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
