The Department of Theatre Arts invites applicants for a one-year special appointment as a Teaching Assistant Professor in performance. This is a 9-month non-tenure track position contingent upon enrollment and availability of funding.

The successful candidate will receive a contract that allocates 60% toward teaching, 30% toward creative activity, and 10% to service. The successful candidate will:
Teach a 3/3 load including sections of THEA 161 Acting I, THEA 245 Dance Fundamentals, THEA 345 Dance Special Topics, and other courses as assigned
Direct a fall production
Choreograph the spring musical
Assist the department in recruiting activities
Oversee the BA in Acting majors and Dance minors
