Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.75 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 8-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Filing, copying, laminating
  • Running errands across campus
  • Basic computer use (MS Applications)
  • Basic IT support
  • Light cleaning
  • Mail distribution
  • Upkeep, troubleshooting & filling copiers
  • Assist with inventory
  • Act as receptionist for students, faculty, staff and visitors
  • Assist with events
  • Assist with special projects
  • Other office duties as assigned

Required Competencies

  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability for hours assigned
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Minimum Requirements

  • MS Office proficiency, especially with Word and Excel
  • Prior customer service or public interactions
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
