Purpose of Position
Develop and advance research investigating the immunotherapeutic potential of superantigens in established solid tumor models, including B16 melanoma and TC-1 systems. Designs and executes experimental studies, analyzes data, and contributes to the dissemination of findings through peer-reviewed publications, with a focus on evaluating translational and therapeutic applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform common immunological, microbiological, and biochemical assays, including ELISA, Western blotting, and cell cloning.
- Conduct and interpret flow cytometry experiments, including assay setup, sample preparation, acquisition, and data analysis.
- Carry out small animal research procedures in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and execute murine cancer studies, including established models such as B16 melanoma and TC1.
- Support experimental design, data collection, troubleshooting, and basic laboratory record keeping.
- Maintain lab organization, reagent preparation, and standard operating procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements
- PhD in cancer immunology or a closely related field
- Experience with common immunological, microbiological, and biochemical assays including ELISA, Western blotting, and cell cloning
- Expertise in flow cytometry
- Experience with small animal research techniques
- Experience with murine cancer models, including but not limited to B16 melanoma and TC1 models
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
