Salary/Position Classification

  • $16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist students with CAD modeling during class time
  • Grade lesson drawings
  • Assist students in the shop during hands on project days
  • Assist in ME201 Student Design during class time
  • Assist in managing 3D printing for ME Department
  • Assist in running tours for prospective students as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have taken ME 101 and ME201 at UND with Grade A
  • Schedule: Fall 2026: ME 101: M & W 8:00AM to 10:00 AM and 3:35 PM to 5:25 PM
    ME201 Mondays 11:15 PM to 12:05 PM and Thursday 2:00PM - 4:00 PM
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
