Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 8-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

The front desk greeter is the first person a student sees when they enter the MALL, and the last person they see when they leave. The front desk greeter warmly welcomes students into the MALL, creating a welcoming environment for them and setting the tone for their study session. They are also responsible for checking students into and out of the MALL.

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet students and check them into and out of the MALL
  • Light cleaning duties, as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate student at UND
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have completed at least one full year of collegiate coursework
  • Are pursuing a degree in any of the following fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science
