This full-time position plays an important role in building relationships with volunteers, donors, residents, families, staff, and community partners while helping create events and opportunities that enhance the lives of those we serve.
Position Details:
- Full-Time
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 P
- Starting Rate: $25.09–$30.70/hour

What You’ll Do
As our Event & Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll help lead Valley Senior Living’s volunteer program and support a variety of Foundation events and initiatives. Responsibilities include recruiting, orienting, engaging, and recognizing volunteers; coordinating volunteer opportunities throughout the organization; maintaining volunteer and donor records; and serving as a liaison between volunteers and Valley Senior Living.
You’ll also help plan and coordinate special events such as the Golf Classic, Giving Hearts Day, Around Our Table, Music Therapy, Oktoberfest, and Tree of Life banquets, as well as Craft & Bake sales across the organization.
This role offers the opportunity to combine event planning, relationship-building, communication, organization, and community engagement in a position where your work directly supports our residents and the Valley Senior Living mission.
What We’re Looking For
A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience with Microsoft Office, donor or volunteer software, event coordination, volunteer organization, or donor relations is preferred. Relevant work or volunteer experience will also be considered.
